Thoughts On Living Right

Poem:

To treasure and to hold

Life’s precious gifts;

 cheer the sick and old,

The downcast, by and by,

Is to light the torch of love

And heartfelt amity,

Rising beyond, above

Life’s stark mundanity.

To walk the common line

Of integrity, not swerve,

Is to tarnish not the shine

Of what we must preserve.

To touch a soul sublime,

Is to love and not forget

The feeling every time

We sense its silent breath
